I need to know how to remove the cracked bosch glass cooktop from my range. I bought a replacement part but can’t release the broken top. I’ve removed the screws from the front of the range and the back but it seems there are screws that hold it on the sides and that you may need to remove the side panels. Please advise as the part came with no instructions.

I’m afraid I have never worked on that model. Maybe someone familiar with its constructions will drop by and offer suggestions?

We figured it out and replaced the top. Kudos to my husband who after reading a number of postings re: other cooktops, was able to figure out how to remove the top.
