I Have An Estate Electric Dryer Model Teds680bq2. I Found That The Exhaust Hose Was Torn And The Dryer Was Venting Into The House, I Fixed The Hose And Now I Have To Run The Dryer Twice To Get Them Dry. At First I Thought It Was The Heating Element But It Still Gets Hot, The Air Flow From The Exhaust Is Strong And I Have Checked All The Venting For Clogs.
If you are sure there is no obstruction in the vent then I would take off the lint chute and clean it out. If there is still no improvement you can try replacing the operating thermostat as it may be cycling off too quickly.
