Removing In The Door Water Dispensor Micro-Switch

I have a GD25DFXFB02 Whirlpool Side By Side Refirgerator. Initially I did not have water or ice to the door. I replaced the water inlet valve which solved the no ice issue. I now have PLENTY of ice and my wife loves me again. However, in order to regain the full graces of my wife, I need to also have the water issue completed.

From what I understand (maybe incorrectly) if the water valve has been replaced and I still have no water in the door, it is most likely the micro switch in the door dispensor itself. When I depress the lever nothing (no sounds at all) happens; which to me would indicate the water valve is not getting the message the door is calling for water…so I ordered a new micro switch and need to know how to get the dispensor apart to replace the switch. it is not readily apparent to me how to dis-assemble it without damaging it. If someone could please post a link or instructions on how it all comes apart, I think I can take it from there.

Thanks!

Remove the dispenser cover o most by gently prying going round and round a little at a time to prevent from breaking it. When it’s off the screws will be exposed to access the other components. There may be tabs at the bottom to start at.
