Noticed the refrigerator part was not cold and noticed it has iced up in the freezer part. It does not have defrost on it and we were told we need to order the control panel . Is this right and which one should I look for? What should I do now until I am able to order this part?

The control board is Item 5 in Section 3.
I cannot say if this is the correct part as I do not know how it was diagnosed. There are 3 parts that can cause defrost problems: the control board, the defrost thermostat and the defrost heater.

Try to force a defrost cycle, see the tech sheet.
The compressor and fans will shut off in defrost and the heater should get hot defrosting the unit. You will have to do this every couple days or when the temperatures start to rise (depends on usage).
Note: It may not heat up/defrost, this could also be the board but when it was diagnosed the heater and the thermostat would have had to check out OK.
