Refrigerator water dispenser not working

The water dispenser barely dispenses water. When I install the by-pass plug everything flows good. I have purchased 2 filters and neither one works. I have inspected for any kinked lines and I made sure I had proper water flow to the filter. I have checked the dual water valve and everything checks out. Again, when I install the by-pass plug the dispenser works great but when I re-install the brand new filters it doesn’t work. I have flowed a good 4 gals of water through it in case there was an air lock.

Any suggestions?

After 4 hour of troubleshooting and labor, I’ve just finished repairing my fridge water supply. Had the same problem. I fixed it replacing the Base - Water Filter Part Number: AP3687338 (it’s Frigidaire brand). The base has 2 water hose valves that works under pressure. After comparing this base with the base of the fridge I have in my garage (same brand!), I discover broken tiny pins in the valves. So, I swapped the base and now works like new. Hope it helps you.
