This will likely be a water valve, filter head, or a frozen water line, check to ensure water is getting through the valve to the filter head, then ensure it is getting through the filter head, then start checking for a frozen water line.
I can take the filter out, shake the water out of it, replace it, and it will fill back up with water when I push the flapper. I believe I had the same problem about 7 or 8 years ago but it was the icemaker not filling up and I bought the water valve from you and it fixed the problem. Also, when I take the filter out and shake the water out, it seems to only come out of one side of the filter, not out of both stems.
If I can’t find a frozen water line how do I check that it is getting through the filter head to the front where the water comes out?
