Refrigerator door replacement?

Door rubs on bottom hinge
When you open the door, it “rubs” on the bottom hinge. This was purchased for a rental property and installed around 2019 by the Home Depot installer. I never looked at it. The prior tenant never told me the door was rubbing, but I recently changed tenants and the new one brought it to my attention. I took the door off and realized that the installer never swapped over the plate and bushing on the bottom, they just stuck the pin in the hole. Now the door is screwed up (see photo). I changed the plate and bushing over from the other side, but it still doesn’t close right; it makes a noise and is rubbing somewhere. Should I call an appliance repairman to fix this, or do I need a whole new door? Can I even buy a door for this now? Very annoyed at the installer but well out of warranty… Any help or direction would be appreciated!!

Hi,

I found:

LINK> Refrigerator Door Foam Assembly Fits both models mentioned above.

I don’t know if all of those little hinge bits and pieces come with the new door, APP probably could answer that.
Yes all of those bits and pieces where supposed to be transferred over to the other side when the door swing was changed.
To save some money, do the door switch yourself to the other side and let them use the refrigerator like that…at least the doors will open and close properly.

To have the door swing the same direction without this failure, the door would need to be replaced due to the damage done. However, if the door swing is not much of an issue, the parts can go to the side they were originally on, hinges moved to the necessary side, and the door would swing that way. The door assembly does come with everything so that it is ready to set onto a hinge. Here is a link to the door item information page. Unfortunately the location of the fridge prohibits changing the swing, but I appreciate the comments!
I can’t decide if it’s worth trying to find an appliance repairman who might know of a way to fix this, or if it’s possible to buy a whole new door? Or should I just get a new fridge?

The refrigerator door can still be purchased and the link provided previously will lead to the item information page.

Thank you, I appreciate the knowledge!!
