Manufacturer Part Number 297302900

This is the part I need. I can’t find it anywhere

From what I can find, the door bearing 297302900 has been discontinued. Before the door gasket was replaced, did the door have issues with closing properly?

It wasn’t as bad as it is now. The gasket was shredded and the freezer was condensing and freezing, making icicles.

I’ve tried two different gaskets (cheap and expensive), no difference in sealing the door.

Is it the entire door that is not closing or is it a small section that is allowing air to leak through?

The entire door is not sealing.

Does it look like the lower hinge might be sagging a bit? A loose screw or the hinge bending can cause the door to not close.

I don’t know right now. I’ll certainly take a look at it when I get home.

The cams look good. I don’t see any upper cam. This gasket is not flush all around.

Take a hair dryer and hold it about 8 inches away from the gasket. Move the hair dryer slowly back and forth along the entire gasket, warming it evenly. This helps soften the material slightly, allowing it to reshape and form a better seal when the door is closed.

Just be careful not to overheat or hold the dryer too close— even heat is all it takes to relax the gasket into place.

We’ll do! Thank you very much.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you as well.
