If the freezer door is opened and the door switch taped down, the freezer LED module can be removed. Once it is disconnected from the cabin harness, place a piece of wire in to the cabin harness to jump from port to port, bypassing the LED module. If you open the refrigerator doors, do the lights start working properly? If they do, the freezer LED module has a short and would need to be replaced.
