"Sensing" buzzing noise

I have a Frigidaire Affinity front load washer (has the O not U imprint on the side panel) that recently quite working mid cycle (full of water). The machine is making a buzzing noise from the lower right corner and displays “SENSING” on the screen. It wont drain, start a new cycle, etc… just keeps “sensing” When it was under warranty it made a similar buzzing noise when the door wouldn’t latch fully and the technician replaced the door latch assembly and door strike. I recently purchased both and replaced them however the “sensing” and buzzing continues. Ideas?

Look inside the lower service panel for tech notes that will tell you how to put it into a diagnostic mode and generate error codes.

The door lock assembly fails regularly on Frigidaire front loaders, so check that again. Also check the main control unit and the motor/speed control unit using the tech notes.

Thank you. I didn’t find the tech sheet but got underneath the unit ( it was stacked so I couldn’t pull front or back panels off) and found the catch filter in the rubber boot between the drum and pump was full of coins and a bra underwire had slipped through & lodged into the impeller. Problem solved ! Thank you for the input. I’m going to keep the 2nd latch assembly knowing I’ve already had to replace it once.

Ok good. I forgot to mention that checking the drain pump is the first thing to do. Glad you got it fixed and thanks for the update.
