I do have problem with my dishwasher. The “CLEAN” cycle light always flashing. with door open and close and I can’t reset. I discoencted power few times and nothing also I checked two door switches and they also good.
What will be my next step ???
Thanks Ted
Your computer may be stuck in error mode,to reset, open door, within 3 seconds hit hi temp scrub, then energy saver buttons, repeat this, then close and latch door, then press cancel button. This should fix it, if no hi temp scrub, push similar button.
If this fails, one of your keypad buttons is jammed. Try to unjam it. Unplug keypad, if this fixes it, you need a new keypad.
Usually, the clean light will flash in 7 flash intervals, if not, try the keypad unplug routine above.
Hi
Nothing help. I think maybe I need new computer not touchpad.
Ted
Try pressing normal wash -heat dry-normal wash-heatdry- normal wash-heat dry- norma wash - heat dry. all the lights should come on. then after a little bit. keep pressing start till disher washer gets back to normal shut down.
what happen your water was to cold going into the disherwasher one time taking to long to warm up. the dishwaher went into a fault mode. the light blinks 7 times because there was a fault with your heater circuit. this should take care of it.
Hello
I disconected power for all night now I turn power ON and for last 1 hour
I’m pressing all “buttons” per your instruction and …nothing.
“CLEAN” light flashing 7 times after is 2sek pouse and again, again …
What next ???
Ted
Hi Tadek
Most likely the problem with your dishwasher is a bad heater or a bad hi limit thermostat. The model number you provided is incorrect. Please double check it and post the right model number, then I’ll be able to give you more specific instructions.
Also it’s better if you would post it as a new thread.
Gene.

Your dishwasher has a problem in the heating circuit, this problem will need to be resolved then the control reset after the fault has been repaired…

You were correct - it worked!!! - except on my Whirlpool model DU1055XTPQ3 it was the combination of hi temp wash & heated dry buttons that unstuck mine. Thanks for the quick fix. I knew it was a code and had tried several combinations of buttons, just not in that particular sequence- don’t believe I would have ever ramdomly found it without your help- Thanks!!
Thank you all so much for posting what you do! Saved me at least $200 to fix the same problem with my dishwasher! My backwoods location tags on $75 -$100 just to set a date for repair. I have used this site before with awesome results then as well. Again, Thank you, in this time of money being short, this was a true blessing.
