When I turn off the circuit breaker and then turn it back on, the Normal Light comes on and the Dry Heat light comes on but it won’t start and none of the other buttons respond. After about 30 seconds, the Dry Heat light goes off and the Normal light flashes. I have tried entering the reset sequence (dry heat, normal, dry heat, normal, dry heat, normal) but it does not respond.
I did the test to see if it might be to keypad or the controller and the drain pump did not come on so I replaced the controller. Unfortunately, after replacing the controller, I am getting the same problem.
Any suggestions?
Your touch panel is likely experiencing a failure. You may need to replace the control panel but there is a trick you can try first. Turn the power off to the appliance. Use a hair dryer to heat the panel up until very warm while rubbing firmly over the buttons. Often times, this will restore operation. Be sure to get the panel very warm but not hot enough to damage the plastic. If this does not work, the panel will probably need to be replaced. Let me know what happens and I can get you the correct part information.

Thanks for the suggestion Ninja but it didn’t work. I am wondering why if I unplugged the ribbon cable from the control panel and hit the circuit breaker why the drain pump didn’t kick in if the controller was working. Which is why I replaced the controller but that didn’t fix it. Is it possible that the drain pump is bad? Although it is completely drained. ??? I’m confused.

The drain pump is not designed to run with the touchpad unplugged. It will run during cycles and if the cancel button is pressed, but there is no default for it to start if no signal is sent to initiate it. You can unplug the keypad and then disconnect the thermistor to initiate the diagnostics cycle, but since you have already replaced the control, that only leaves the keypad assembly, available below.
