Question About Lights on Water/Cube Dispensers

Is there a way to TURN OFF (permanently) these two lights? I have neither the water nor the cube dispensers hooked up, so I don’t need the lights.

If you push the light button on the dispenser it should turn off the lights and then it should only illuminate when the dispenser is pressed.

Unfortunately, this button seems to be only a toggle switch; I’m trying to find a way of permanently disabling the lights on both sides, cubes and water. There might not be a way of doing this, though.
