Preventing Mice from nesting in range insulation

Is there any way to seal a GE range so mice won’t be able to get into the insulation? Steel wool? Duct tape?

Mike,

You don’t really want to seal off all the openings on your range, you disturb several operational parameters, and it won’t work any way, they’ll still get in.

Of course, the best case is, to eliminate the mice.

I remeber someone once told me to stuff all the openings, you can find, in and outside the house with Steel Wool, or Metal screening material, and put out lot’s of traps.

You could also get some dry dog food, put it in a bowl, out in the backyard.

But with the cold weather coming in, they’re looking for a warm place to nest,

Anyway you look at it, it’s gonna be hard…

Good Luck,

I’m a master locksmith. I have seen evidence of mice and rats INSIDE bank vaults! Who can keep them out of an appliance???

Magician,

I’m not a locksmith, and have never been rich enough to be in a bank vault,(lol) but that’s weird.
