I have a Hotpoint gas stove model RGA720 PK2WH purchased as a new return. This have been converted to LP.
There is no gas entering the stove. The connection into the pressure regulator on the back of the stove was removed with good gas flow there. The connection out of the pressure regulator was removed with no gas flow through the regulator.
I ordered a new regulator and installed it. Same problem.
There is nothing that I can see that is adjustable or movable on the pressure regulator except the convertor to LP. It has been tested with both LP set up and nat gas set up. No gas flow through the regulator.
It has never worked. Gas has never gone into the stove. Before conversion or after conversion.
There is a pressure regulator on the gas tank. There is another pressure regulator on the back bottom of the stove. Gas goes through the tank regulator up to the gas stove pressure regulator. If the connection before the stove pressure regulator is disconnection the pressure is fine, gas flows.
If the connection after the stove pressure regulator is disconnected there is no gas flow through that regulator.
Perhaps the regulator at the tank is not needed but I have never seen LP gas installed without a regulator at the tank. I own over 100 mobile homes with LP gas stoves and all of them have regulators at the tank.
