Try the following:

  1. Press and hold the 1 and 5 keys at the same time for about 3 seconds until “tESt” appears on the display.

  2. Press Steam Clean to scroll through any stored fault codes (F-codes).

  3. Write down any codes that appear, including multiple codes if more than one is stored.

  4. Press Cancel/Off to exit diagnostic mode.

A couple of things to keep in mind:

  • GE has used different control boards over the years, so if pressing 1 + 5 doesn’t bring up “tESt”, your oven may use a different method to enter diagnostics.
