Potentiometers are shown as #8 on the break down diagram. Thermador has redesign them together with the simmer control module (#12 on the break down diagram) and sell it now as a kit.

  • The part number for the potentiometer kit is AP3672574

Hi Gene,
Does the old potentiometer need to be removed/diabled?
I would assume that you access the new potentiometer location from the backof unit. please confirm. Is the kit self explanatory? When a potentiometer goes bad,what are the symtoms ?

According to the break down diagrams (I definitely recommend to review them all) you can access from the back the simmer control module. In order to access the potentiometers and/or the spark module you have to remove the top panel. All the parts in the new simmer control kit must be installed.
