I am having a very difficult time identifying this part. I cannot find it on the schematic for this particular model number. I’ve ordered a couple of different parts, but they’re not the right ones.
This part holds the tines up. Without it, the tine that hold the plates on the middle/lower rack fall to the sides.
I appreciate any help you can offer.

I’ve ordered that part and it is not what I need. That part holds the racks in place, but doesn’t keep the tines from splaying out when a plate is added.

If you look at the parts list Item 4 in “rail and rack” section does say that it is a latch for the tines.
Unfortunately there are two of them and no pictures so I cannot even say if it is the correct part, let alone let you know which is the correct one.
May be best to take the part with you to a local Jenn-Air / Maytag parts supplier and try to get a replacement. That way you will know for sure that it is the correct one.
A good parts desk person may be able to just look at it and get you the correct part.
