I have a LG refrigerator LFD25860SW and the fridge and freezer fans only blow into the two cabinets in “test 1” mode w/ original PCB #6871JB1280M. LG said the replacement PCB #6871JB1423N is compatible. Orig. PCB has three harnesses at bottom of board (left has five pins w/ five wires, middle has three pins w/ two wires, right has six pins w/ six wires). Replacement PCB also has three harnesses except the right harness only has four pins to accommodate five wires. Does this mean a function on the fridge won’t work because there is an extra wire with no pin to connect to.

board is 6871JB1423N

The control board part number 6871JB1280M shown as discontinued and not crossing over to the 6871JB1423N.

I know it’s not fun but you will need to check again with the LG.
