PArt # substitution for a Frigidaire glass top stove

I am in Canada and I have a Frigidaire glass top stove model # CFEF372CB2 . The top has cracked and the local parts store wants over $440 for the part!!! Appliance parts pros sells the tops for $206. The only difference is the model # they have is CFEF372EB2 and not CFEF372CB2 I surmise that CB2 like mine, is Canadian and EB2 is USA . Does anyone know if this is the case for sure and that the parts are full interchangable? I would hate to oder the part and find out that I have to modify something to make it fit.

Can you double check the stove model number? Can’t find CB2 anywhere, including Frigidaire Canada database. Could it be BC2 instead? If it is in fact CB2, what is the part number of the top the local store found for you?

By the way, EB2 is also a Canadian model.

It is most definitely CB2. I will try and find out the part # but the tops DO look exactly the same.

I also searched through several databases and was only able to find a parts list for models CFEF372CB1, CFEF372BC1 and CFEF372BC3. So if your model is in fact CFEF372CB2 we may need to contact the manufacturer just to be sure you get the correct part number. My son just advised that they cracked their glass top on a CFEF372CB1. We live in Canada, but my daughter lives in Montana. Can you advise cost of replacement top and shipping to Kalispell ?
