Oven unlock door command

We continually have a problem with our GE oven everytime we use it saying to unlock door, but the door is not locked. We try locking and unlocking but it continues to say unlock door, we have to push on the door to get it to reach temperature and then shortly after it finally works. We are at the point that we have to lay on the top front to get it to work. Can we disconnect the door lock feature from the display or is there another fix. We have run the self cleaning to try to get it to fix the problem but it didn’t help.

The Model number that I have suppied is exactly what is on the oven tag.
At another site I had to remove the C in order for it to come up.

Hi.

Check the micro switch at the oven door latch, wire harness from the switch to the control board. You should read no continuity with the latch open. If it’s closed, pull off one wire and see if that make any difference.
If this things are OK - then you most likely have a bad control board.
