Oven problems

A few months ago, our bottom element went out, so we had a repairman to order us another. My husband put it in and it worked fine for a while.
Then it stopped heating again, so we called the repairman and he could find nothing wrong, and somehow it started heating again. Then several weeks later the whole oven quit working, including the broiler unit. When we turn the oven on, it clicks on then the temp gauge goes to 100 and nothing happens.
We called our repairman and he suggested that he order a new control, but then he was informed that it is no longer manufactured for that model.
We are wondering if there is a way that some dealer may have one in stock. How do we find out, and is our search futile, and we need to purchase a new stove.
Thank you.

Zona,

We still may not be able to help you, but it would help if we had a proper model number.

JD39WOR3WH, does not display in any of our reference materials.

Could you double check and make sure you sent us the correct model number.

Thanks,
