Oven not fully working after self-clean

Hello,

After doing a self-clean our Frigidaire oven was pretty much dead. The clock went, the touch buttons were non-responsive and it was flashing an error code (which, unfortunately, I can’t recall which one). We called a repair person and he told us we needed a new control panel, but they were out of stock. At that point, we kinda put it off. Then, things slowly started working again. First, the clock came back and we were able to program it. Then some of the touch buttons came back, although there was still no heat. Yesterday, I tried playing around with it again and was surprised that I got heat with both the convection pre-heat and convection bake buttons.

In your opinion, do you still think the control panel needs to be replaced, or do you think there’s a short somewhere?

Thanks for your help!

The model number you posted does not come up. Verify and repost it.

Hi Gene,

Thanks for your reply. That is actually the model #. I’ve attached a link to a picture I took of the actual model # for you to view.

Thanks again.

The model number is correct but looks like this is Canadian model. That’s why it does not come up.

The problem most likely is a bad electronic control (aka clock) but there is a small chance for the key panel to be bad as well. Unfortunately I’m not able to provide more accurate advice due to lack of technical information.
