I have replaced the 40W appliance bulb, but the light still does not come on when you use the touch pad. The new bulb has been confirmed as OK.
Is there a method of checking either the touch pad or PC board assy. with an ohm meter to determine where the problem is? I’ve checked voltage at the light socket and get 0 Volts when the touch pad is activated yet the indicater light comes on.
Pull the range range, remove the rear cover and check wires to the socket.
If there is nothing wrong then replace the control board.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Amana range Model ACF3335AC

Thanks Gene. I have one other question:
What about the plunger switch that controls the light when you open or close the oven door??Could it be bad??
According to the wiring diagram this switch mostly works as a logic switch. You can check this switch for continuity at the control board (the violet & the orange wires at the J1 connector) with the door open and closed.
Post the results.
