Main Symptom: Oven and broiler will not heat up
What happens & when: The oven and broiler will not heat up. The igniter works, the thermostat has been replaced. There are flames coming up at the bottom of the oven but it still does not heat up. We would like to fix it ourselves and not purchase a new stove. My wife and mother-in-law love this stove. I fear them not being happy with a replacement.

This sounds like either a valve assembly issue or an igniter dragging on the valve circuit and keeping the valve from opening properly.

Does the broil seem to ignite when it is selected? Even if it only stays on for a brief time.

we wanted to let you know that the broiler works. we found that if we unplug it for like 10 minutes the oven works as it should, but not every time
