Hello,

I have a Maytag Precision 500 gas range, the digital control display board is showing various error codes, unable to turn the oven on. The oven is almost 2 years old in November. Please help!

What are those error codes?

What is the complete model number of the range?

The display shows 8888 then it has broil clean bake hold warm in small letters, it went blank for a couple hours, then it had 2 LL, then it went back to the 8888. On the oven door it has these # 8114p925-60 (02-03-00) on my invoice it has MGR5765QDS

Make sure there is proper (120 VAC) and stable voltage to the range.

Do you think the digital board can have a short? I checked the outlet it works fine, I don’t know what to do, when I press the oven light button it still turns on & off but the display is still showing on 8888 in red. It happened before when I was cooking it went blank but when I pressed cancel it stilled turned the oven off. Now when I press bake or cancel it just beeps.

Sounds like the problem is a bad control board (aka a clock).
