Our Sears Microwave turns on when we open it

I need help, our Sears microwave Model # 721-67600 turns on when we open it. I’m trying to avoid the $100 plus cost of having them come out to our house in the Boonies just to look at it. I can get the parts, my problem is I need some installation guidance!

Most likely what you have there is the faulty door switch.

Open the control panel and check the door switches and mounting bracket.See if all the switches are properly engaged when the door is closed, check there continuity,

Thanks Simon. How do I open the control panel, I see two holes in the under side but I don’t see any kind of fasteners! When I get it open will I beable to get the parts from AppliancePartsPros.com! When I gave them the part #s I had 1 #46-692286-3 and 2 #503388 I was told you didn’t have access to them, I’d really like to get them from you!
