We’ve had it for 5 years and 5 months and this is the fifth problems.
When the Power Scrub or Regular Wash button is pushed the timer show 187 minutes. The washer doesn’t fill by itself, however it washes and drains if I fill the washes with a kettle. I think it is a problem with the control Parnell since the timer shows 187 minuets. The longest wash has been 135 minutes.
The water fill solenoid was replaced 2 months ago. I changed one of the relays about three years ago since the washer kept washing and didn’t stop.
It was very obvious since the relay had a burnt mark. This time I cannot see any sign of over-heating nor missing solder etc.
If you can help me with this, I would appreciate.
Hi.
Most likely it’s the control board. What is the 2 numbers after the slash in the model number?
Simon.

Thank you, Simon.
I wanted avoid buying a control unit, since it is $145 plus 12% sales tax
in Canada.
My wife is bugging me and I now have to get a control soon.:o
You are welcome.
Simon.
THere are people who rebuild boards at low cost. One I used is called corecentricsolutions.com
They rebuilt my double oven for about $75.
I replaced the control. It cost me $162.50 from Part Store Canada. I couldn’t get it from this site since shipping to Canada isn’t offered
It worked perfectly for two washes. however, the DW again isn’t working very well.
Washing time for the Power Scrub is somewhat shorten to about 114 minutes from 135 minutes, although the washer completes the wash cycle. We don’t care about shorter cycles, however, the DW also doesn’t stop washing if the door is opened during wash cycle.
Is there a stop switch?
I wonder it could be very difficult for me to ask for a replacement of the control, since I am a not technician.
Hi.
Check the door switch.Sounds like it’s not disengaging when door opens.
