Thinking about ordering replacement ice maker valve #67003753 but it looks different than original valve #67001241. Looks like there’s a push on water connector instead of thread connector. Any tips? Thanks much!
Cut the water line back about an inch and install it into the new valve, Install the valve onto the rear of the unit, and hitch up the inlet line, your DONE!!!
Hey, thanks for your knowledge & time. Two questions, why do I need to cut water line back an inch and does the line just click into new design valve?
I have a plastic line.
Thanks again!:o
What you’re doing is cutting off the threaded fitting. Yes, the plastic end will lock into place.
The new valve is designed to lock onto “fresh” tubing, Not tubing that has been crimped with the old nut!!!
