With the power supply to the range turned off, there will be two screws on the door lock front plate that can be removed. The cooktop can also be lifted up by removing the screws at the bottom front. A brace can be used to help hold the cooktop up so that the front bracket just above the lock can be removed. This will give access to the lock to identify what is jamming it. Does the lock mechanism look like it might be warped or bent?
