What happens & when: On normal wash the countdown timer will freeze and the fill cycle and spin cycle start together. Would it be the control board or the water valve or both ? It appears the other wash cycles work fine but the normal cycle is the only observed problem.

For this issue, since the unit works fine in all other cycles but not the normal wash, this will most likely be a control board.

Thanks for the info. I now have an update. The problem now happened on bedding cycle, where on start the sense and fill cycle starts and the water continues when the wash cycle starts. I’m guessing the control board still guilty, or should I get the valve also ?

You would be correct that this would still be in the control board.
