One of the igniter switches are stuck in the closed position. With the power supply cord unplugged from the outlet, and the grates, burners, and top panel removed, the igniter switches can be tested for continuity. With one wire disconnected, each switch should show no continuity when tested in the off position. If one has continuity, it has failed and would need to be replaced.
