I have an older Jenn-air electric stove. I’m not sure if the switches are bad on the RH grill side. Symptom: I push in the grill element & one side warms up without turning on any switches. When i switch on the exhaust fan then other things happen. Since its an older moel Jenn-air tech support wont even answer any questions. To replace the switches do I need to remove the top off. Can I access thru the front? Before I start is there any service manual available. I have a multimeter & a generic schematic for Jenn-air.
Most likely the problem is a bad switch. Unfortunately we are not able to find any online information due to age of the product. If you can find the wiring diagram and post it, it might help.
