Hello everyone. Any help would be appreciated. I have a Magic Chef MCBR1010. I was having defrost issues so I did some research and replaced the following parts:
Now coils on the freezer half freeze. The bottom set of cables are great. The top half of the coils near the fan freeze and build up frost. I don’t know what else to replace. Once again, thank you all in advance.
Possible the evaporator fan motor is malfunctioning. Check how freely the fan shaft is rotating. Make sure the blade is nor slipping on the shaft.

Thank you for replying. I bought the evaporator fan. After installing it, the refrigerator would not stop working (like hours on end). I thought maybe I fried my timer. To test my theory I put the old evaporator fan back in. It worked just as it did before. Any idea?
Sounds like the sealed system is low on freon. It can be verified by a professional refrigerator technician only. Check the manufacturer warranty in the user manual.
