Not draining or doing final spin

Main Symptom: NO DRAIN/SPIN
What happens & when: Replaced the drain pipe with one bought off this site. Washer will spin when washing and rinsing, but will not drain after rinse. It will not spin either when done.

Do you hear the drain motor come on? If you don’t, access the motor and check it with a multimeter. You should be getting 120 volts at the motor when it is in a drain mode. If the voltage is present and the motor will not run, the motor is bad. If no voltage, then a control board. It all comes down to whether the motor is running or not. Most front-load washers will not spin with water in the tub.
