Non-draining Bosch Dishwasher

My dishwasher recently stopped draining. I had a technician give me a quote of appx. $450 to fix, He claims i probably need a new drain pump. I see Drain pump (with o-ring) Part Number: AP2802385 made by BOSCH is available.
Would replacing this part alone be all I need to complete the repair? Or, would you suggest any other parts I might need.

The pump seems to run, but no water evacuation takes place. It stopped this operation while I was washing my heating ventilation filters (recommended by manufacturer). Is it possible that the silt from these may have plugged up the hose?

I’ve been told these Bosch machines are more labor intensive than others. I’m guessing a removal of the total unit will be needed. At which point I would hope access to the damaged part would be reasonably accessible by tipping unit on it’s side?

I can turn a wrench, but not totally adept at mechanical logic.

Can you offer any simple advice?

Thanks

The drain line and the pump are definitely clogged with lint. You have to remove the dishwasher from the cabinet, take the drain parts apart and clean them all. I can not tell you if the drain pump is damaged or not. You have to find it out after disassembly.
