Need more information, please. Does the valve hum when you press the paddle? Does the icemaker still make ice?
It still makes ice. I had a problem about a yr ago with the line in the door froze. I used a hair dryer with Hot setting and it resumed water flow.
I know, the older the refrigerator gets, the insulation inside the freezer door breaks down and loses its ability to insulate. There is not much you can do other than replace the entire door. Keep the water flowing from the dispenser; use it a lot to try and keep the water from sitting.
