no power to maytag washer

my maytag washer does not do anything when i pull control knob out. I have checked the power source and it is fine. Could it be a fuse or something in the control panel?

Check the fuse and both switches in the lid lock latch assembly (#19 on the diagram).

Replaced the fuse and the washer filled up with water. When it went to the wash cycle it blew the fuse again. Any ideas?
