No power to LG Washer

LG Washer not getting power at all. No lights on the control panel. Circuit was blown, but when I reset it, the control panel wasn’t lighting up at all. No response to pushing the power button. I checked the outlet with a lamp and it’s working. Does this model have a reset button somewhere? Thanks, Jon

If there is power to the control board but the it is dead, then most likely the control board has gone bad. There is no any reset buttons.

Gene, Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly. That certainly sounds like the culprit. Before I go spending $80 to $100 that I may not get back, is there anything else that would cause a completely “dark” machine on this model? Motor, stator, or door switch? I’m thinking I would get lights even if the door switch was bad. Thanks again, Jon

Jon,

You can get this part from AppliancePartsPros.com for only $59.47 and you also can return it at any time. This is a Win-Win situation for you.

Gene, my man. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my posts. I got the control board from APP, popped it in and it’s working like new. Actually I let my 16 year old son put it in, under supervision of course (I didn’t want to have to buy another one). Now he feels like a hero. My wife says my son and I and you are her heros. So keep up the good work! Thanks again, Jon

You are welcome Jon and thank you for your good words. I’m glad it’s up and running.

Happy Holidays!
