a friend gifted me a working dryer. It had a 4 wire plug that did not match my outlet. I changed out the cord. At first wiring the dryer turned on but would not heat up. I looked up installation manual and re-configured the wires coming from the dryer. Two blue one white one yellow and one black. Now the dryer won’t turn on at all. I need the proper wiring config coming from the dryer to the terminal block.

Ok,
To check or rewire the interior harness wires at the terminal block, using your description of the wires,
The two Blue wires should be attached to one of the outside terminals on the block and one of the outside terminals of the line cord.
The White wire, should be attached to the center terminal of the block with the center terminal of the line cord, and there should also be a “jumper” wire or metal tab that attaches to the groung screw in the terminal block area.
The Yellow and Black wires should attach to the opposite outside terminal of the block, along with the the remaining outside terminal of the line cord.
That should get you back to your standard three wire, 240 VAC, 30 amp wiring configuration.
