No Heat

My dryer stopped heating. I changed thermal fuse and heating element and still have no heat. I did check continuity of heating element and had open line and found one of the coils came apart. everything I search for this problem says it should be one of these parts, but obviously not. could you please tell me what the problem could be?

Does the timer advance when in timed dry function? If not, check that you have 240vac at dryer power cord connection block on back of dryer behind small panel. With dryer unplugged, make sure those connections are clean and tight and there is no burning/melting of wires or terminals there. If ok, problem could be timer, motor switch or a faulty connection in the heater circuit. You say you replaced the thermal fuse. The thermal fuse is in the motor circuit, motor would not run if it was bad. Are you talking about the thermal cutoff on the top of the heater box? Did you check continuity of the hi-limit thermostat at bottom of heater box?
