No heat

Hello tested all thermostats and heating element as well as limiters for continuity. how much voltage should there be at the heating element? i am reading in the 120’s is that right? if so what else can I test and how do i test to make sure there is 240 at the power terminal block in the rear?

Hi Cadillachad

With the machine plugged in, test to see that you are getting 120 volts between each line into the connector block and the neutral. This means you are getting 240 to the machine.

If you are, disconnect the power and test for resistance on the heater element. You should get 12 to 20 ohms resistance on the heater element. Make sure the heater element is not grounded to the frame.

Good luck
