Main Symptom:not making ice
What happens & when: Installed 2 new ice makers, neither works

Parts or tests already tried:new original and replacement tried both seemed to have a jammed reset button

Does it feel/look like the button is getting stuck or does the ice maker just not do anything when you press the button?
It doesn’t seem to do anything when pushed. Both units are like this. Could someone check a warehouse unit to see if it should “click”
It is pretty unlikely to have 2 ice makers come out of the box with the exact same issue. Have you checked voltage to the ice maker? At the harness to the ice maker you should be getting 120v AC from gray wire to light blue wire with the freezer door switch held closed.
