Kenmore 500 series top loading HE washer—went cycle is finished complete button comes on, machine is unlocked. It quickly relocks and starts a new wash cycle. If “CANCEL” button is held it will unlock. When washer is empty it must be unplugged or it will lock and start new wash cycle—very frustrating!!!
need your complete model number. it should begin with a 110. followed by eight numbers.
In the mean time is your machine under warranty?
If not sounds like you might need to replace the ECM electronic control module
