New Control Panel- start button won't work

I just replaced the control panel on my dishwasher. Previous to replacing it, none of the buttons worked, now every button works except for the START/CANCEL. I took every thing apart for the 2nd time, made sure all the connections were secure etc but still no dice.

Any advice from anyone?

You could check the start switch output from the control panel/keypad with a meter to see if it is OK.
If it is OK then odds are that the control board is toast.
