Wayne,
The model number you posted does not come up, probably due to its age. If you have any numbers from the old part, post them and it might help to find a replacement part.
Gene.

Hey, thanks for the quick response.
I removed the control and got the following #'s off it.
On The top end is printed 021577,
On the bottom end is printed 070177
The thermostat mounting plate is stamped:
QE 162224 TYPE B
240V 30A 06-30-77
There appears to be something printed on the front plate but it isn’t readable.
The thermostat is removable from the back of the control housing by 4 screws.
Pretty simple and straight forward design.
Doesn’t look repairable, the Bakelite housing is badly burned on one side where the line in connects.
Hope this helps identify it.
TIA,
Wayne
Wayne,
I found the part number for this oven thermostat, but unfortunately this part has been discontinued and is no longer available. The part number is 530016222.
Gene.
Ok, thanks Gene. I appreciate the assistance.

I just got a hit from another board with the P/N 5300162224.
Does this # compute?
Wayne
Wayne,
I’m sorry, it was mistyping. The correct part number is 5300162224 and it is no longer available.

No problem. With the help of a friend, I was able to cross reference the P/N and actually find a picture of it. I have located 2 used parts, and what I think is a NOS part.
Looks like I’ll get it fixed after all.
Again, thanks for your help.
Wayne
You are welcome. An aftermarket or a used part can be a good solution. Keep us posted.

I found a cross-reference #, P/N 5450-224. My problem is that I haven’t been able to contact 3 different resellers, they don’t answer the phone or e-mails.
I found a seller on ********** that has 7 units, I HATE **********, but I guess I’ll have to try that.

I’ve seen that thermostat, made by Robertshaw and checked it out last time. Unfortunately it is no longer available as well.
Gene.
Recieved a NOS unit on Saturday the 21st. Oven works great now. Thanks Again Gene.

You are welcome Wayne. I’m glad to hear it. Happy Holidays and good luck with your oven.
Gene.

Thanks, I appreciate you thinking of me. I was able to get a NOS part from a vendor on e-bray.
My oven was repaired in time for Turkey day…
Hi, Do you still have the P/N 5300162224 for the Westinghouse Oven? Thanks very much!
