Need help with DC97-14486A

Hi,

I ordered DC97-14486A for my DV42H5000EW/A3. It didn’t come with the blue or black wires shown in the installation video. I tried to use the black wires on the old heating assembly but the wire broke. How do I order a new black wire?

The first picture below is a snapshot from the installation video. It shows red, black, and blue wires on the heating assembly. I need the black wire that goes from the fuse (middle piece on the assembly) to the thermostat (the piece on the end of the assembly).

I attached a picture of the black wire that is broken. I need to replace this wire. I might as well order a blue one as well.

I don’t think those jumper wires even come with the main harness DC93-00466B, and the manufacturer doesn’t appear to list them. Your best bet would probably be to go to a local hardware store with the original wires and find the same gauge wire and same size terminals and make new ones.
