Model Number:JGB280DEN4BB
Main Symptom: won’t heat
What happens & when: My gas stove is GE. Model number JGB280DEN4BB. An older model. My burners are working fine, the orange light at the bottom is turned on. Yet, when I’m trying to broil or bake, the display stays stuck on ‘pre’ with a significant gas smell, and little to no heat emanating from the stove. Using deductive rationing what part(s) do I need?

The orange light I guess you are referring to the bake igniter?
