I took the motor and pump off my Whirlpool washer and found two plastic cases attached to the housing. Inside the cases was one each of approximately 2 inch long “pins”. They had a small hole by the point of the pin. (I would have attached pictures but can’t seem to figure out how to do that.)
Any idea what they are for and why they were stored there?
Thank you for sending that manual but I did not see anything in there that matched the parts I saw.
I am trying to attach some pictures. If this works, you can see the pin in my greasy hand. The other shot I put some red arrows pointing to the plastic cases the pins were stored in.
I think I was finally able to load some pictures. The red arrows point to the small plastic containers these parts were stored in.
