There are a few things that could cause this. If you plug the washer into a different outlet, does it become responsive? If not, the back panel of the console can be removed to test for voltage at the main control. With a multimeter set to Volts AC, is there 120 Volts AC at connection J1 when measuring from the black wire to the white wire?
